Renovar is a nationwide firm that provides restoration and repair services of wood furniture, cabinetry, and millwork. Clients include insurance carriers, residential homeowners, commercial properties, and the hospitality industry. As one of the largest firms handling insurance property claims across the country for wood furniture and cabinets, we rely on our repair firms to perform work in local markets.
We offer a professional and guaranteed assessment for the repair and restoration of the damaged furniture and/or cabinets. The carrier has confidence that the work will be done by our qualified craftsmen who carry the necessary insurance and have had the required background checks. The insurance company appreciates that Renovar saves the homeowner the inconvenience of searching for an independent local vendor and can provide both the estimate and the repair.

building, office, and shop areas.
The ability to perform all types of furniture repair and complete refinishing.
Participants in the cabinet repair program must have the ability, equipment or resources required to remove, fabricate and install kitchen cabinet boxes, doors, drawers, etc. (We allow the use of plumbers, electricians, and stone companies to do the work as subcontractors.)
A minimum of $1,000,000 in general liability insurance.

To begin the credentialing process, submit an online application form. You must complete every field, or the form will be rejected. All information is held in the strictest confidence and will not be shared with any outside company.
The majority of our claims are water and fire damage to furniture and kitchen cabinets. Other claims may involve burglary, vandalism, and storm-related damage.
Most cabinet claims involve partial restoration methods, such as:
Fabricating new boxes and re-installing the existing face frames doors/drawers.
Fabricating new boxes with face frames, doors, drawers and refinishing to
match the existing cabinets.
Refacing side panels with matching laminate or veneer, finished to match
the existing color and sheen for a uniform appearance.
Rebuilding the interior of a sink base cabinet.
The majority of cabinet repairs require shop work, but some repairs, such as laminating
side panels, replacing toe kicks, etc., are done on-site.
Upscale office buildings and hotels have a large investment in millwork located in their common areas. If you include the cabinetry, reception desks, and furniture the investment is significant. Most of the work would include:
Damaged wood, veneer, and laminate.
Conference tables, reception desks, and other furnishings.
Color matching finishes for a uniform appearance.
Touch up and repair wall panels, wood trim, wainscoting, doors and door jambs, and elevator cabs.
The majority of the repairs are done on-site but there are some occasions where work is done in the shop.
We prefer that you cover the largest area (defined by zip codes) you can service efficiently and cost effectively.
