Master Craftsmen Spotlight | Master Fixture Restoration

At Renovar, we would be nothing without the network of Master Craftsmen we have.  Our Craftsmen are the best in the business at furniture, cabinet, and architectural millwork restoration. What sets these artisans apart is that they understand quality restoration is not simply about the repair. It’s about restoring the beauty of woodwork to the way it was originally built. Whether it’s a family antique that needs minor refinishing or a full renovation to cabinets damaged by a fire, Craftsmen approach every project with the same pride that made them passionate about their industry.

We asked Amy Cherp from Master Fixture Restoration a few questions about her business and what it is like working with Renovar.

Here is what she had to say as well as some Before and After photos about a recent cabinet restoration her team completed!

[Renovar] Can you give us a little background about your business?

[Amy] We’ve been doing woodworking, refinishing, and repairs for 15 years – residential, commercial, and a few categories in between!

[Renovar] Why did you join the Renovar network?

[Amy] To get back into disaster restoration work.  Selling points were the low cost to us, no royalty fees, the breadth of insurance carrier alliances, and the support of the Renovar team.  Now that we’ve been working with the team for a while, the realization of their support has exceeded our expectations.

[Renovar] What has been your experience like working with Renovar?

[Amy] Great!  A supportive team to assist with the details is a win for us.  Leadership that is committed to the program has been a huge asset in so many facets.

[Renovar] What would you tell other craftsmen interested in joining the Renovar network?

[Amy] Join the network!  The number of insurance carriers Renovar works with is impressive.  It is an additional revenue stream in a market that is very difficult to get an “in” as an individual repair firm.

[Renovar] Can you give us a little detail about this cabinet restoration you just completed?

[Amy] All the lower cabinets had been disposed of, entirely by the mitigation company.  We made and installed full boxes, including doors/drawer fronts with matching profiles.

We hope you enjoyed getting to know one of the Master Craftsmen! If you are interested in joining our network, you can fill out our application here.
